Social Media - fad or here to stay?

Here's a great video that talks about the continued emergence of social media.


Even though it's 6 month old (an age on the social media trajectory), the facts and figures in it are eye-popping.

At this point, social media is still predominantly a tactical channel, but what I love about it is its ethos; customer driven (like diffusion), not promotional message driven. In effect the New vs the Old pharma marketing model.
